Reduction and cooling device

Reduction and cooling devices are designed to reduce the pressure and temperature of hot steam to the operating parameters required by the consumer. Can be used both for simultaneous reduction of steam pressure and temperature, and for their separate reduction.

Reducing and cooling devices allows several times to reduce the pressure of cooling water, which leads to significant electrical energy savings, in comparison with the traditional designs used to supply water to the working zone under high pressure. The nozzle reduction method minimizes unproductive friction losses and increases the device's flow rate, which leads to an increase in the overall thermal efficiency of the system. The payback period usually does not exceed one year.

  • The cooling water pressure can be significantly less than the steam pressure
  • Stable cooling at low and variable loads
  • Precise steam temperature control
  • Absence of thermal stresses in the steam pipeline behind reduction and cooling device
  • Avoiding the ingress of cooling water into power equipment
  • Easy operation
  • Low noise level
  • High work resource
  • Long overhaul interval

Individual approach

The device is calculated individually for the required parameters of a particular object.

Individual approach to the production of the reduction and cooling device allows the user to select the coolant with precisely specified parameters, minimizing losses during transportation of the main and reduced steam
